A supportive school is one that ensures there will be a circle of people to understand and respond to each individual student’s needs. At SOLA, the circle of support is a given; it is an essential part of who we are.

SOLA Students Score Top Notch AP Marks

Ian Witchlow, Tiarnan Shuttleworth, and Matthew Ing, all participated in SOLA's innaugaral AP program this year, writing the first set of AP examinations given at SOLA. We are all proud to announce that all three students scored a level 5 on both the AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics exams. These marks will result in the granting of a full first year university credit in Economics.

In addition to this, Tiarnan Shuttleworth took on the additional task of preparing for the AP Calculus BC examination and Scored a level 4. This was truly an astounding feat, as Tiarnan prepared indpendently for this exam. A level 4 on the Calculus BC exam will earn Tiarnan his 1st year Calculus credit in addtition to the economics.Tiarnan's individual results have also earned him the distinction of being an AP Scholar.

We are extremely proud of all three students and their accomplishments. We are looking forward to seeing what our AP classes will do next year and to the continued expansion of our program!
